What is a Manicure?
A manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment for the fingernails and hands performed at home or in a nail salon. A manicure consists of filing and shaping the free edge, pushing and clipping (with a cuticle pusher and cuticle nippers) any nonliving tissue (but limited to the cuticle and hangnails), treatments with various liquids, massage of the hand, and the application of fingernail polish. The most enjoyable part of the salon pedicure is the massage. And then enjoy the desired colours by long-lasting gel colours that the one dry under the UV light or normal colours.
What are Acrylic nails?
Acrylics, the most popular artificial nail, are a combination of a liquid and powder that creates a hard, protective layer over the natural nail. A nail tip is applied to the nail, then a ball is created by dipping a brush into a liquid monomer and placing the wet brush in powder polymer. This ball is placed on the nail bed and patted into place using a liquid monomer. The finished product is cured, normally by air drying.
What is Dipping powder?
Dipping powder is considered one of the healthiest options for your nails. Almost acting like a protective layer while stimulating overall nail health, it provides a bit of extra strength and length to your nails, whilst maintaining a lightweight feel.
It is much thinner than acrylic but thicker than gel polish. It's a great way of getting a bit of extra strength in your nails, whilst maintaining a more “natural-looking” finish.
