You can find Country Treasures by our notable presence on the corner of George and Jellicoe Street. There are not many antique shops in Auckland as big as our shop, nor quite like us! This 5,000 square foot showroom offers a wide selection of antiques and collectibles from Victorian to retro.

Country Treasures is found and led by Mike Macdonald. With over 35 years of collecting, Mike has a wealth of knowledge and expertise—resulting in a carefully curated space for avid collectors. From the bespoke to the outright unusual, Mike travels around New Zealand to source the absolute best antiques out there. You can typically find him at the shop, personally repairing found pieces, or having a cuppa by the entrance.

We have an amazing collection of high-quality furniture, ranging from Victorian to Mid-century. You will also find an interesting range of ceramics, pottery, brass & copperware, hardware, mirrors, art, glass, tiffany style lamps, a selection of phones, old tools, dolls, prams, and anything that's old and interesting! Our range includes pieces from New Zealand makers alongside coveted European names.

We also have an excellent collection of clocks, from Chiming Mantle to Victorian Grandfather clocks. All are serviced and sold with a warranty.

There is so much to see and new stock is on the floor on a daily basis, so you're never likely to see the shop floor as you did on your previous visit.
